Can i still update my mac os when Windows is installed via BootCamp?
Since my MacBook is old i don't have the "Create a Windows USB Install Disk"..how do i install it?Do i just put the Windows iso file inside the usb drive?

You should still be able to upgrade OSX with bootcamp on another partition.
I had quick look and your mid 2010 MBP 15" is not on Bootcamp Win10 support but are on Win8.1 and Win7, so the latter two WinOS should be ok.

You need to burn the W7/W8.1 ISO to a physical DVD to install Windows on 2010 Mac models.

Not on a 2010 model. A Windows USB installer is supported on 2012-2014 models.

You do not. You need to use BC Assistant.
